Susan Matejcak represents clients in complex commercial real estate transactions, including single and multisite acquisitions and dispositions; office, industrial, and retail leasing transactions; and development and construction documentation. Susan also has significant experience in the division of real estate ownership through such methods as creating "vertical subdivisions" and commercial condominiums.
Representative transactions include the $515 million sale of the Shops at North Bridge by North Bridge Retail Company, the $252 million acquisition by JRK Birchmont Advisors of 17 multifamily projects, multiple build-to-suit lease transactions on behalf of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, and various financing and sale transactions on behalf of Prime Group Realty Trust.
Susan is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (Real Estate Law Section) and The Chicago Bar Association (Real Property Section).
