Paul P. Martin is a trial attorney with a concentration in criminal defense. He has successfully represented hundreds of individuals accused of crimes including such notable/high profile cases as Chappell Hartridge (the Juror in the Martha Stewart Case), Police Officer Clayton Bullock (Acquitted after TRIAL, Charged with Burglary while on Duty), Police Officer Yuseff Hamm (All Charges Dismissed, Charged with Burglary), Police Officer Frank Sanzone (Acquitted after TRIAL, Charged with Assault), Detective Marc Cooper (Police Officer Charged with in the Shooting Death of Sean Bell, Acquitted after TRIAL).

Paul P. Martin served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York from 1989-1995. As a trial assistant in both the Narcotics Bureau and the Trial Division he prosecuted a variety of cases such as "Undercover Buy and Bust", "A-1" Felony Narcotic Possession Cases, Robberies, Gun Cases, and Murders. He was responsible for all phases of criminal litigation from the authorization of an arrest to the Grand Jury presentation to the Trial.

After serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Martin accepted a position at McAloon & Friedman, P.C., a medical malpractice defense firm. Both working as an Assistant District Attorney and as an Associate prepared him as he ventured on his own, opening his own office in 1996 in midtown Manhattan. As a sole practitioner Mr. Martin represented clients in all five New York City Boroughs, as well as, Westchester and Long Island . He has tried numerous cases to verdict, including but not limited to narcotic cases, sexual assaults and homicides. He litigates civil matters, such as, medical malpractice cases, false arrest and imprisonment cases, contract and police misconduct cases.

Paul P. Martin also represents a number of Not For-Profits. He serves as general counsel for numerous Churches and Not for Profits in the New York City Metropolitan area. He represents Church's in a variety of areas including real estate development projects, obtaining 501 C-3 status for auxiliary organizations, in presenting petitions to the Attorney General of the State of New York and the Supreme Court of the State of New York and acting as General Counsel.

Paul P. Martin is the First participant in the St. John's University School of Law and the United Negro College Fund Dual Degree Program, Mr. Martin is a graduate of Wilberforce University, Wilberforce, Ohio (B.A.) and St. John's University School of Law, Queens, New York (J.D.). Mr. Martin is a member of the New York State Bar. He is also admitted to the United States District Court of the Southern and Eastern District. He is a member of the New York State Defenders Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York where he sits on the Committee on Professional Discipline. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated and he is a Prince Hall Mason, 32 Degree.
