JAMES E. MARTIN

James E. Martin, sole proprietor of The Law Office of James E. Martin, was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on February 20, 1947. He was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1973 and the Missouri Bar 1991. Mr. Martin received his degrees from Washburn University of Topeka (B.A., 1970) (J.D. 1973) and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He held the position of Assistant Director of the Kansas Division of Workers' Compensation from 1973-1977. He is a member of The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, and American, Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations as well as The Workplace Injury Litigation Group. For the past 24 years, Mr. Martin has devoted the majority of his practice to workers' compensation, personal injury and insurance law. He has spoken before professional and civic groups on topics relating to his areas of practice and has been a lecturer for the Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and National Business Institute.
