Emily Wood practices in the area of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on the litigation of patents, trademarks, and related unfair competition and antitrust matters. She has represented Jones Day clients in patent cases in several U.S. District Courts.
Emily has handled complex litigation involving diverse technologies, including computer software and hardware technologies as well as medical devices and implants. She also assists clients with intellectual property counseling and licensing and is actively involved in pro bono representation.
Prior to attending law school, Emily worked as a research engineer for SRI International and as a software engineer at Lockheed Martin.
