Fred A. Wong is the founding Partner of Wong & Mak, LLP – a full service business and real estate law practice handling both litigation and transactional matters. His expertise is in business and real estate litigation. Mr. Wong regularly served as Temporary Judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court during the 1990s. He also served on the Board of Directors of the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association for many years and was its President in 1993. Mr. Wong has been inducted into Southern California Super Lawyers since 2009.
Mr. Wong was admitted to the California State Bar, United States District Court and United States Court of Appeals in 1986. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Finance) from California State University Los Angeles
In the past, Mr. Wong has volunteered his time to serve on the following boards and committees: City of Alhambra Chamber of Commerce, Alhambra General Hospital Citizen Advisory Board, City of Alhambra Parks and Recreation Committee, City of Alhambra HCDA Citizen Advisory Committee, Chinese American United for Self Empowerment (Founding Member) and Vision 21. He is currently the President of Journey House -- a charitable organization that serves the needs of emancipated teens and young adults leaving California’s foster care system.
Mr. Wong speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. His hobbies include traveling, hiking and skiing.
