Marshall, Michael L.

Ellen R. Winternheimer is a native of the Indianapolis area. She is a member of the firm’s civil litigation, non-profit, healthcare, and family law groups.  Her areas of distinction include: divorce, child support, child custody modification, contracts, business disputes, insurance, real estate, by-laws, articles of organization, articles of incorporation, and applications for recognition of exemption.

Ellen worked for Lewis & Kappes, P.C. as an Independent Contractor in Summer of 2010. She later joined Lewis & Kappes, P.C. as a Summer Associate in Summer of 2011. During 2011, she worked as a Clerk for the Honorable Judge Bradford on the Indiana Court of Appeals. While in law school, she served as an Article’s Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review, and as the Executive Director of the Dean’s Tutorial Society.

While in undergraduate, Ellen spent a semester at the John E. Dolibois European Center of Miami University in Luxembourg, focusing on French and Middle East and Islamic studies. Ellen also completed the 2009 Secretary of State Fellowship Program and worked as an Intern in Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman’s Office.
