Douglas D. Winter is an associate with McNicholas & McNicholas, LLP. Mr. Winter has extensive trial and appellate experience in both state and federal courts, and has successfully tried many cases to verdict. Mr. Winter’s practice includes all areas of civil litigation, including employment, business torts and disputes, consumer litigation, catastrophic personal injury and intellectual property.
Prior to joining McNicholas & McNicholas, Mr. Winter was a partner with Riley & Reiner. Mr. Winter has achieved excellent results for his clients over the years at both the trial court and on appeal. Some recent noteworthy results include:

Mr. Winter is admitted to practice before the California State Courts, United States District Court - Central and Eastern Districts of California, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Winter is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
Mr. Winter obtained his Juris Doctor from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in 1990, and was admitted to the California Bar the same year. Mr. Winter graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and was a Pac-10 letterman in tennis 1982-1986. Mr. Winter was born and raised in Los Angeles where he graduated from the Harvard School (now Harvard-Westlake) in 1982.
