Ms. Manning opened her law practice after her former employer, the Honorable Bunmi Awoniyi, was appointed to serve as a judge in the Sacramento County Superior Court of California. Ms. Manning worked for the Law Offices of Bunmi Awoniyi in Sacramento, California, prior to attending law school as a paralegal and following law school as an associate attorney focusing exclusively in immigration and naturalization law. Her focus includes family-based immigration, waivers and provisional waivers, and asylum cases.

Ms. Manning's prior professional experience includes working as law clerk for Graves and Doyle, a leading immigration firm in Boston, Massachusetts, and volunteering with the AmeriCorps program at the Catholic Social Services Immigration Department in Providence, Rhode Island. She began her legal career as a paralegal at the Law Office of David A. Martin & Associates in 2001 in Sacramento, California.

Ms. Manning earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. Prior to law school, she attended California State University, Chico, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Ms. Manning is an attorney licensed in Massachusetts and is authorized to practice immigration law throughout the United States. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
