Olivia Marbutt practices in the areas of intellectual property litigation and counseling, including matters related to patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. Her experience covers all stages of litigation, including pleading, discovery, motion practice, Markman hearings, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation. She has particular experience in the field of telecommunications as a result of a number of representations, including matters involving patent claims raised by Ronald A. Katz Technology Licensing, L.P.
Olivia has devoted a significant amount of her time to volunteer and pro bono activities in the Atlanta area and is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property. She is a volunteer attorney for the Truancy Intervention Project and has represented several families with the Special Education Project. She is also a member of the Junior League of Atlanta.
Prior to attending law school, Olivia was a teacher at Rocky Mount Senior High in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
