Margand, John P.

Mark M. Wilson was born in Freehold, New Jersey in 1970. He graduated from West Chester University in 1992 and from the Widener University School of Law in 1995. He was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois in 1996.

Mr. Wilson concentrates in Social Security Disability, workers’ compensation, and civil litigation. He has successfully represented over a thousand clients in workers’ compensation cases before the Illinois Worker’s Compensation Commission and in hearings before the Social Security Administration. He has successfully tried numerous cases involving motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, employment disputes, and premises liability. He holds the second largest personal injury jury verdict in Marshall County.

Mr. Wilson regularly practices throughout the State of Illinois representing injured persons before the Illinois Worker’s Compensation Commission, disabled persons before the Social Security Administration, and injured persons in vehicle accidents in state and federal courts. He previously represented insurance companies as a defense attorney before joining the litigation team at Schweickert & Ganassin.

Mr. Wilson’s wife, Katrina, is also a practicing attorney and they have one daughter. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Knights of Columbus.
