Evelyn Mak is a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group.

Practice

Ms. Mak advises clients on patent matters, obtaining patent protection and patent litigation. Her expertise uniquely combines patent litigation and patent prosecution. Ms. Mak has extensive experience in counseling clients to develop patent portfolios, conducting due diligence investigations for corporate and licensing transactions, and performing pre-suit investigations. She is also involved in all aspects of patent litigation before the federal district court and International Trade Commission (ITC). She represents a variety of clients, from small, start-up companies to large companies, in a wide-range of technologies including electronic devices and circuitry, integrated circuits, computer software and hardware, computing networking, wireless communications, non-volatile memory, global positioning systems and internet-based applications.
