Practice

Ms. Magurshak represents national and regional financial institutions in a variety of regulatory and transactional matters, including control determinations, new product development, state and federal charter and licensing options, mergers and acquisitions, and financial services agreements. She also counsels companies concerning a wide variety of electronic payment systems and compliance with related federal and state laws and regulations (such as the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E), as well as local payment systems rules (such as rules governing the Automated Clearing House and various credit and debit card systems). Her work has also included advising financial institutions and other entities that are seeking to comply with the US sanctions and export control laws and regulations.
