I am a family law attorney and mediator who also focuses on pursuing the best resolutions of our clients. I have been practicing family law and mediation since 2007. Prior to that, I practiced for five (5) years in employment, labor and corporate law. I also served as in-house counsel for two businesses that I helped start. My background lends itself to helping families explore options when business interests or multiple assets are involved. I decided to switch my concentration to family law after becoming involved with a number of child advocacy centers, including Girls, Inc. and Chaucies’ Place of Hamilton County. My work as Guardian Ad Litem for Kid’s Voice of Indiana also fueled my decision to assist families through the process and changes inherent with divorce.
As a registered mediator for family (domestic) and civil matters, I seek to encourage creative thinking and understanding to support the parties’ efforts in reaching workable resolutions. I am on a panel of mediators for the Indiana Department of Education and for the Marion County Family Court Project. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Association of Mediators.
