Jason L. Williams was born at Fort Campbell, Kentucky on June 24, 1977. He completed his undergraduate education a Murray State University in 1999 where he was the starting center for the Racer football team. Jason worked in Louisville, Kentucky and Indianapolis, Indiana before he attended law school at Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. Jason was the Executive Managing Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review and graduated law school with honors in 2005. After Jason received his Juris Doctorate Degree, he commissioned as a U.S. Army JAG Corps officer in January 2006. Jason was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2005.
During his military service, Jason was stationed at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He served as a legal assistance attorney, trial counsel (prosecutor), Special Assistant United States Attorney and Brigade Judge Advocate. During his last four years in the Army, Jason was assigned to the 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) as their trial counsel and Brigade Judge Advocate. As a member of the 159th CAB, Jason deployed twice to Afghanistan in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After serving over six years as a JAG officer, Jason transitioned to private practice in October 2012.
Jason is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and Christian County Bar Association. Jason focuses his practice on criminal defense, general civil litigation and family law.
