Andrew F. MacRae, a founding partner of HULL HENRICKS & MACRAE LLP has substantial experience in mass tort cases, including breast implant, tobacco and diet drug litigation. He specializes in general civil litigation including personal injury, products liability, insurance professional malpractice and commercial litigation. Mr. MacRae also has extensive experience in administrative proceedings. Before joining Mike Hull and Susan Henricks to form HULL HENRICKS & MACRAE LLP, Mr. MacRae was a Litigation Associate with Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP, from January 1999 - April 2000; Locke Purnell Rain Harrell PC (which later merged with Liddell, Sapp, Zively, Hill & Laboon) from June - December 1998. In 1992, Mr. MacRae served as a Law Clerk for Justice Bea Ann Smith on the Third Court of Appeals in Austin, Texas.
Mr. MacRae graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism in May 1998 and from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1992. He is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the Austin Young Lawyers Association and the Travis County Bar Association and a former member of the American Inns of Court - Robert W. Calvert Chapter. He was born in Awali, Bahrain and graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas.
Mr. MacRae is married to Joanne Ryan. They have one child, Kate born August 19, 2000.
