Amy Wigmore is a partner and a vice chair of the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. She joined the firm in 1998. Ms. Wigmore focuses on patent litigation and complex commercial litigation and has represented clients in state and federal courts in several jurisdictions.
Practice
Ms. Wigmore has extensive experience representing clients in the biotechnology industry. She has counseled clients and litigated cases concerning technology license disputes. Ms. Wigmore also has represented pharmaceutical and telecommunications companies in patent infringement suits.
In addition, Ms. Wigmore has represented clients in cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of contract, employment disputes, civil rights claims and test security issues. She also has handled congressional investigations and internal corporate investigations.
Ms. Wigmore has significant experience in all facets of the litigation process, including drafting and arguing dispositive motions, managing complex document production efforts, taking and defending depositions, working with experts and examining witnesses at trial. She also has represented clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
