Rhona Lyons focuses on Employee Benefits in the context of Welfare and Pension Plans. Before joining the Firm in 1996, Rhona worked as a law clerk for judges at the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the Missouri Court of Appeals. Rhona is active in the Employee Benefits Committee (chapter editor for Employee Benefits Law) and is a past union co-chair of the Technology Committee of the Labor and Employment Section of the ABA and is senior editor of a BNA publication on document retention. Rhona frequently speaks on employee benefit and technology subjects and has made presentations at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit, ABA, and BAMSL meetings. She is a member of the steering committee for the Jobs with Justice faith committee. Rhona received her law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1986 (Order of the Coif) where she was on the Law Review and published an article on environmental law. Rhona received her LLM in tax law from Washington University School of Law in 1999.
