Since graduating with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2008, Dan Lype has worked as an associate attorney at the Leichter Law Firm. His primary practice areas include the representation of clients before the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, the Texas Medical Board, the Texas Board of Nursing, the Texas Real Estate Commission, the Texas Education Agency, and the Texas Department of Insurance. Mr. Lype has extensive experience handling complex administrative law litigation at the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH) as well as administrative appeals in District Court of final board orders and other actions by state agencies. Mr. Lype has also been involved in ongoing litigation with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Texas Medical Board regarding pain management clinics and non-therapeutic prescribing/dispensing of pain medication.
