Kyle Weynand was born in Brownwood, Texas and has lived throughout the State of Texas. He earned an undergraduate degree in Finance, cum laude, from Texas A&M University (B.B.A., 2002) and his Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, from South Texas College of Law (J.D., 2005). While at South Texas College of Law, Kyle was a member of Law Review and received numerous honors and awards including the Dean's List, Order of the Lytae, and several American Jurisprudence Awards for academic excellence.
Kyle works with individuals, businesses and corporations in various types of commercial litigation, construction litigation, maritime/admiralty, and subrogation matters. Such cases primarily involve complex issues on energy related matters, land based and offshore oil and gas exploration and production, commercial construction and infrastructure construction projects, as well as contractual interpretation and indemnity issues. In doing so, Kyle is attentive to the client's needs, seeks to be proactive in handling litigation and strives to provide efficient favorable results for the client.
Kyle has managed all aspects of complex litigation, depositions, motion practice, and alternative dispute resolution. Kyle has also participated in several trials and handled construction defect and products liability arbitrations. He has also been involved in presentations on subrogation issues and presentations in London and Zurich regarding the basic understandings and drawbacks of Long Term Service Agreements as the agreements relate to turbines and generators.
