Norman C. Lundberg is a West Contra Costa County native who was raised in El Cerrito. He attended local public schools and graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in history in 1969. After receiving his law degree from Hastings College of Law in San Francisco, he returned to Richmond in 1972 to begin his law career. Throughout the years he has gained extensive trial experience in civil, domestic and criminal matters, and now concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, business, contract and transactional law. He also consults with health care organizations regarding legal, regulatory and contractual issues.
His estate planning experience includes the preparation of simple and complex estate plans involving the drafting of living revocable trusts, wills, advance health care directives, durable powers of attorney, and handling all aspects of probate and post death trust administration.
He currently represents a wide variety of small and large businesses in regard to their general business legal issues; forms partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies; represents buyers and sellers in business sale transactions, and drafts and reviews contracts.
He has extensive experience with complex health care business, regulatory and contract issues. In addition to maintaining his private practice, he has also served as General Counsel for Northern California Health Center, Children's Hospital of San Francisco, Bridgeway Plan for Health, Omni Healthcare, Delta One Partners and Central Valley General Hospital, and currently represents and advises both large and small health care entities in regard to contractual and regulatory issues.
Mr. Lundberg is a member of the California State Bar Trust & Estates Section, the American Bar Association Health Law Section and Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section, and the Contra Costa County Bar Association where he sits on and is the immediate past chair of the Conservatorship, Guardianship, Probate and Trust Section. He is also a member of the Health Care Compliance Association and the California Society for Health Care Attorneys. He is an active member of the Richmond Rotary.
