Jason Luczak joined the firm in 2008 after graduating from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was a member of the nationally recognized Chicago-Kent Trial Team. During law school, Jason worked on several death penalty and high profile criminal cases in Chicago. His undergrad work was completed at Ball State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Television News and Political Science. During college, Jason appeared regularly as a reporter and anchor on the local PBS station.

Jason serves GRGB clients in a variety of practice areas that include both civil and criminal litigation. He has gained valuable courtroom experience, trying cases in state, federal and municipal courts throughout Wisconsin.  He has argued before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago, and has prepared and filed a certiorari petition to the United States Supreme Court.

Jason has gained the respect of his colleagues in the legal community, who have recognized him as a “rising star” every year since 2011. This designation from the Super Lawyers magazine is only given to 2.5 percent of the outstanding emerging lawyers in Wisconsin who are under 40 or have been practicing for 10 years or less. In 2012, Jason was recognized by the Wisconsin Law Journal as one of Wisconsin’s Up and Coming Lawyers.  

The son of a popular Milwaukee radio personality, Jason is proud to serve clients in his hometown. “I enjoy working in the Milwaukee market. It has a close knit personality that is not found in other cities,” Jason notes. He also suggests that this culture resonates within GRGB, stating “it is a very collaborative culture here. People work together very well, knowing that the main goal is to do the best possible job for the client.” That collaborative environment assures that GRGB clients are getting the benefit of the vast legal experience its attorneys have, but also the creativity that comes from collaborating to solve complicated problems.

Jason coaches the Marquette University Law School AAJ National Trial Team and the National Moot Court Team. He has also presented at legal writing and oral advocacy seminars at Marquette University Law School. He also serves as the secretary for the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association.

In his free time, Jason enjoys running, reading and taking in the eclectic Milwaukee concert scene.
