Bill Wetering has practiced primarily in the areas of family law, criminal defense, personal injury, insurance defense, civil litigation and business litigation since joining the firm in 1987. Bill is an experienced litigator and has the ability to zealously represent his client’s interests and advocate on his or her behalf. Bill was admitted to practice before the South Dakota Supreme Court in 1986 and the Minnesota Supreme Court in 1987.

Personal Information:

Bill Wetering was born in 1959, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He graduated from South Dakota State University with a B.S. in 1983 and he attended the University of South Dakota School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1986. He is a member of the the State Bar of South Dakota, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association and the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. Bill and his wife Betsy live in Worthington, Minnesota and are members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington. He is a member of Worthington Noon Kiwanis and serves as a Board Member of both the Adrian State Bank and the Worthington Regional Economic Development Corporation.
