The Daily Journal has repeatedly named Mr. Lowe one of the “Top Labor and Employment Lawyers” in California, and he has received California Lawyer magazine’s “Attorney of the Year” (“CLAY”) award by for his “extraordinary achievement” in employment law. Law & Politics magazine has recognized him as a “Northern California Super Lawyer” each year from 2006 to the present, and he has received LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell’s highest “AV” Peer Review Rating for preeminent attorneys and an AVVO rating of 10 out of 10.

Mr. Lowe is committed to expert representation of employees, including senior leadership, in negotiating or litigating compensation issues, discrimination claims, whistleblower complaints and a variety of separation or termination concerns.  He has led the trial team through judgment and appeal in high stakes class action and individual cases.

He specializes in complex litigation, cross-border employment cases, discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims, commission disputes and executive employment contract and severance negotiations.  In addition, Mr. Lowe puts his expertise, experience and creativity to work as a mediator to help parties resolve disputes and find a better alternative to continued litigation.

Mr. Lowe is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and served as Chair of the Labor and Employment Section.  He also served as Co-Chair of the International Bar Association (“IBA”) Discrimination and Equality Law Committee and is a member of the IBA Class Action Task Force.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights in the Bay Area and chairs its Membership Committee.

Mr. Lowe has authored and co-authored numerous publications and has spoken and written widely on employment law, class action, and alternative dispute resolution issues.  He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University and from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law.
