Lucibello, Emily Riordan

Attorney Lucibello is a Partner at Lucibello & Proscino, LLP.  She is admitted to practice before the Connecticut State Courts, and the United States District Court, District of Connecticut.  Her practice is primarily focused on representing individuals accused of crimes, advocating for individuals and small business owners, and representing those going through the very difficult and often emotionally trying experience of a divorce or child custody matter.

Prior to founding Lucibello & Proscino, LLP, Attorney Lucibello was the Managing Partner of Riordan, Cutting & Shore, LLP, a general practice firm which operated out of the same Orange, CT location where she continues to practice.   In her family practice, she has the experience of resolving uncontested divorce cases, custody matters, and visitation disputes amicably.  She also has experience in litigating limited contested divorce cases through trial.

In her criminal defense practice, Attorney Lucibello has defended clients charged with serious felonies and misdemeanors in several courts throughout the state of Connecticut.  As part of her criminal defense practice, she also serves as an Appointed Counsel for the State of Connecticut in the Ansonia/Milford Judicial District and the Hartford Judicial District, allowing her to advocate for a wide variety of clients facing very unique issues.

Attorney Lucibello also has experience in advising business clients on considerations inherent in forming a business entity in Connecticut.  Also in her business practice, she has experience in representing clients in disputes between current and former business owners, in negotiating and litigating contracts through both enforcement and defense, and in other general business litigation.

Attorney Lucibello’s work has been recognized by the publication "Super Lawyers,” in which she was named to the 2012 New England Rising Stars list, as well as the 2012 Connecticut Rising Stars list.

Attorney Lucibello is involved with National, State, and local Bar Associations such as the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Hartford Bar Association, New Haven Bar Association, and Milford Bar Association, and she is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.  She also serves in leadership positions in some of these organizations, including the Executive Board of the New Haven Young Lawyers, a section of the New Haven County Bar Association, and the Legislative Action Committee of the Orange Chamber of Commerce.
