Lowry, Kent F.

Kent Lowry graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2003, and was admitted to practice in California in December, 2003. While at Loyola, Mr. Lowry was the editor-in-chief of Volume 23 of the Entertainment Law Review and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcon of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Lowry graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Culture, and from UCLA with a Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics. He then taught high school Spanish for four years at Taft High School in Woodland Hills, where he was also the junior varsity baseball coach, before moving on to law school.

Before coming to Winer & McKenna, Mr. Lowry worked for nearly two years at a business and real estate litigation firm in Woodland Hills, and for nearly three and a half years at a plaintiffs’ employment law firm in Hollywood. Mr. Lowry has extensive law and motion experience, and has also argued before the California Court of Appeal.

When not practicing law, Mr. Lowry enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and watching baseball and football.
