Ms. Looby is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2010.
Past Experience
During law school, Ms. Looby served as an intern with the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General in the Administrative Law Division of its Government Bureau, where she researched, briefed and argued administrative appeals before the Superior Court. She also participated in the Wendell F. Grimes Moot Court program, where she was honored as a Top Ten Oralist and for her Top Ten Brief; and the Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court program, where she was honored for Best Oral Argument.
In 2008, Ms. Looby served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Cynthia Cohen of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, where she researched criminal and civil controversies with a particular focus on the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law.
From 2005 to 2007, Ms. Looby was a project assistant at WilmerHale, where she participated in patent infringement trials both in federal court and in the International Trade Commission. She also researched corporate marketing practices for criminal litigation and government investigations.
