Barnett S. Lotstein graduated from of Temple University School of Law and had a distinguished career in the public and private sector for more than 40 years.
In 1968, after completing a judicial clerkship, Mr. Lotstein joined the staff of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, he gained extensive trial experience prosecuting felony cases. He also supervised and participated in numerous grand jury investigations and prosecutions of organized criminal activity.
From 1974 to 1976, Mr. Lotstein engaged in the private practice in civil and criminal litigation at the Philadelphia law firm of Seidman and Lotstein. In 1976 Mr. Lotstein accepted appointment as an Assistant Attorney General. During his 15 years at the Arizona Attorney General's Office, he served as Chief of the White Collar Crime Section, Assistant Chief Counsel of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Division in addition to acting as principal legal advisor to the State Grand Jury.
From 1992 - 2010 Mr. Lostein served as a Special Assistant County Attorney where he advised on criminal justice matters, supervised sensitive criminal justice projects, represented the County Attorney in public forums and interacted on a regular basis with constituent and media representatives.
Mr. Lotstein currently advises political candidates on election strategy, and provides commentary on legal issues to media outlets, he has lectured in public forums on criminal justice and constitutional issues; and has lectured and instructed at Arizona State University.
