Lourie, David A.

History

Mr. Weissenstein is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (B.A., cum laude, 1974) and the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D., 1977). He is a member of the Sumter County and American Bar Associations, the South Carolina Bar, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association. In addition, he serves as a Special Referee for Sumter County. He has authored two articles for South Carolina Jurisprudence, entitled, "Improvements" and "Lis Pendens."

Mr. Weissenstein is also an authorized agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company and may be able to provide you with all of your title insurance needs.

Awards

Mr. Weissenstein has served as President of the Walterboro Civitan Club; as Treasurer for the Sumter Surtoma Club; and as Chairman of the Board for Sumter Habitat for Humanity
