Jacob M. Weisberg has been practicing employment discrimination law, civil rights litigation and immigration law in the Fresno area since 1971. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA in 1967 and his J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley in 1970.
He has practiced complex civil litigation in both federal and state courts since 1970. This includes litigation in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals regarding immigration matters, as well as civil rights litigation, in the Eastern District of California and the Ninth Circuit. He also has been involved in complex civil litigation in the employment area representing employees in employment discrimination. He has successfully represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on appeals of orders by the Immigration Court of deportation or exclusion from the United States.
The point of this practice is to do what is right for the client. To research the issues, to try and find the best possible resolution for the client and his family or for the business, and the individual they are attempting to bring to the United States to perform work with the company. This requires personal attention in a local area so that the company or the person involved can come and see the attorney whenever necessary to get the work done.
