Colleen is an attorney in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. She is based in the St. Paul office and is a member of the Estate Planning and Administration Section. Colleen practices primarily in the areas of:
Colleen assists clients with the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and charitable giving documents.
Colleen has served as vice president and general counsel for a local consulting firm, where she was responsible for managing operations and negotiating client contracts. Previously, she spent several years in private practice with a focus on estate planning and charitable giving.
Colleen is highly active in the community with numerous causes benefiting the arts community, including serving as an ambassador for the Children’s Theatre Company. She has served as co-chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association’s LINC program and is a former member of the Friends of Lakeville Area Art Center board of directors and the Lakeville Public Schools Gifted Education Advisory Committee. In addition, Colleen has participated in the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts Art Adventure Program and Junior Great Books.
Colleen is admitted to practice in Minnesota. She received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and her B.A. in psychology cum laude from the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts. She joined Briggs in 2007.
