Jason Liss is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. He joined the firm in 2008.
Past Experience
Mr. Liss's practice includes trial-level and appellate litigation in state and federal courts. Mr. Liss has significant experience in patent suits in diverse fields including semiconductors, network protocols, and nutraceuticals, commercial litigation ranging from consumer class actions to contract disputes, and securities litigation such as merger challenges. Mr. Liss maintains an active pro bono practice, including the successful appeal of a denial of veterans' benefits.
While in law school, Mr. Liss worked as a volunteer tax preparer for HLS TaxHelp; served as Treasurer of ACLU-HLS; and assisted with the compilation of the Citizen Media Law Project’s Legal Guide at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
Prior to his legal education, Mr. Liss worked for a property management firm in the Philadelphia area.
