Lockerman, Alvin A.

Jennifer Little is an experienced trial lawyer practicing principally in the areas of criminal defense, white collar, business litigation and aggravated personal injury. She has extensive experience representing victims and witnesses while managing the media in high profile matters.

Prior to joining Fried & Bonder, Ms. Little served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in DeKalb County, Georgia. Ms. Little prosecuted numerous matters and tried over 50 felony jury trials including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping with bodily injury, rape, child molestation and vehicular homicide cases. She has practiced in State, Juvenile, Magistrate and Superior Courts and has significant trial experience handling specialized matters such as DUI, domestic violence and juvenile court issues involving adjudication and deprivation. While assigned to the White Collar Unit, she handled large cases of embezzlement, securities fraud, mortgage fraud and RICO as well as the exploitation and abuse of elderly and disabled persons. The District Attorney named Ms. Little the 2010 Attorney of the Year.

Ms. Little graduated magna cum laude with highest honors when she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University in 2001. She received her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 having dedicated a significant amount of her time to the Entrepreneurial Law Association where she advised clients on business formation as well as working with the University Technology Transfer office obtaining patents for inventions created at the University.

Ms. Little has been active in many community organizations and was the president of the DeKalb Bar Association in 2010. Ms. Little continues to serve as Immediate Past President of the DeKalb Bar and is also the co-chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Little formerly served as the Vice Chair of the Governor’s Cooperative Agreement Advisory Committee for Youth Substance Abuse Prevention, and she was also a member of the Governor’s Committee on Cross Governmental Sentencing and Corrections.

Ms. Little has been an invited adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix in their criminal justice and MBA programs from 2007 to 2009 and co-authored a chapter in A Reader in Online Education by Brent Muirhead. She taught undergraduate courses in Employment Law, Contemporary Business Law I and II, Foundations of Criminal Justice, and Criminal Court Systems. She taught the graduate courses of Enterprise Risk and Business Law in the MBA program.
