Melanie A. Webre is a senior associate who has been practicing law in Georgia since 1996. She graduated summa cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from Louisiana State University where she studied Political Science and German. Ms. Webre attended Emory University School of Law where she was a managing editor of the Emory International Law Review and graduated with honors. While in law school, Ms. Webre was chosen to participate in a litigation clinical program in which she represented indigent parties in divorce and domestic violence cases.
Following her admission to the bar, Ms. Webre expanded her horizons to encompass all facets of civil litigation. Her forte is contract and business litigation, but her innate curiosity and abhorrence of injustice have led her to champion cases involving employment discrimination, construction, the First Amendment, malpractice, premises liability, family law and personal injury. Ms. Webre relishes unique cases that require an innovative strategy and a bold approach. She practices in both state and federal courts.
