Matt Weaver, a native of Dallas, Texas, received his B.A. in 2003 from Baylor University and his J.D. (cum laude) in 2007 from the University of Miami School of Law. While at Miami, he was an Associate Editor of the Inter-American Law Review and served on the Executive Board of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. Matt is the recipient of several awards for advocacy, including the Best Brief award at the 2006 Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition, and was selected as a member of the Order of Barristers. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Shelby Highsmith in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Matt concentrates his practice in the areas of Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation. He is admitted to practice before Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
