Ryan P. Linsner joined Cavanagh Law Group as an associate in February, 2013. Ryan assists in a variety of complex personal injury, wrongful death and product liability cases. Some of the cases Ryan is currently working on include a wrongful death suit arising out of the tragic death of a United Airlines employee at a military base in Kuwait. He is also assisting with the prosecution of a product liability case against the manufacturer of a salt spreader that killed a young man.
Ryan received his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in May 2012, graduating in the top 3% of his class. In law school, Ryan was named to the Dean’s List every semester and was a member of The John Marshall Law Review for which he published an article entitled “Ensuring Adequate Compensation to the Victims of the Deepwater Horizon Explosion: Who Says You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks?” He was awarded the CALI Award for having the highest grade in five of his classes while at John Marshall.
In law school, Ryan was a judicial extern to Justice Anne M. Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court. From 2010 to 2012, he clerked at a plaintiffs’ firm in Chicago.
Ryan graduated from the University of Evansville in 2009 where he majored in Business Administration-Economics and was captain of the Division I varsity golf team. He currently volunteers as a young ambassador for The First Tee, an organization that reaches out to underprivileged children to instill core values through the teachings of golf.
