Lisa Wayne went into private practice in 1999 having practiced as a Senior Trial Lawyer, Deputy State Public Defender in Colorado for 13 years. Ms. Wayne was admitted to the bar in Colorado in 1986. Ms. Wayne was born in Toul-Rosières, France, and lived around the World until her father, an Officer in the United States Air Force, was assigned to teach at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ms. Wayne attended high school in Colorado Springs, graduated from the University of Colorado in 1981, and Pepperdine Law School in 1985. Ms. Wayne has compiled specialized experience in Criminal Defense. Lisa Wayne's recent presentations and publications include titles such as Twelve Good Jurors in 15 minutes, Evaluating Forensic Evidence in a Sexual Assault Allegation, Cross-Examination of the "Alleged" expert at trial, and Winning with Demonstrative Evidence. Ms. Wayne is the Immediate Past President of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; the preeminent criminal defense organization in the Country. Ms. Wayne is also a member of the Colorado Criminal defense bar, past board member. Ms. Wayne serves as a member of the Colorado Supreme Court Standing Committee on Rules of Professional Conduct.
