Ms. Warshaw joined the Mark Law Firm in September 2012 as Of Counsel. Ms. Warshaw has focused her practice in the areas of Special Education Law, Collaborative Divorce, Mediation, Anti-Bullying Law, Commercial Litigation, Creditor’s Rights, and General Litigation.
Ms. Warshaw graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester in 1990. She then earned her Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law in 1993. She is a member of the Bar in New Jersey (1993), U. S. District Court, 3rd Circuit, (1993), New York (2007), and Massachusetts (2008). In 2012, Ms. Warshaw was admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Warshaw is a member of the New York State Bar Association; The New Jersey State Bar Association, Family Law Section; the Essex County Bar Association, Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; the New jersey Special Education Practitioners Group; the New Jersey Association of Professional mediators; the New Jersey Collaborative Law Group; and she is a volunteer lawyer for the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.
Ms. Warshaw has drafted two published opinions: Henry v. Estate of Levy, 254 N.J. Super. 489 (1991) and New Jersey Transit Rail Operations, Inc. v. North Jersey Cleaning Services, Inc., 277 N.J. Super. 367 (1994).
Ms. Warshaw is currently working on drafting a Bill that would require school districts in New Jersey to recognize American Sign Language as a world language and offer high school students the option to take approved classes in American Sign Language either in district, in another school district, at a local community school, or on line and receive credits toward fulfilling their foreign language graduation requirements. Students may have the opportunity to transfer those credits they receive in high school to their future College or University.
Ms. Warshaw is the President of Sprouts Go Green, Inc. and she chairs several fundraisers for various local and national charities, schools, and organizations.
