Kevin Warren is a staff attorney in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department. He joined the firm in 2006.
Practice
Mr. Warren focuses his practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, he works with other attorneys, litigation technology project managers, and paralegals on teams that manage electronic and other documents in large cases and investigations. Attorneys on these teams take a leadership role in the document control process, systematically tracking documents from preservation to collection and through review and production. They work with e-discovery vendors and their review and analytical tools; review documents; train and oversee other firm and contract attorneys who review documents; and partner with project managers to perform production quality control.
Over the course of his broad legal career, Mr. Warren has practiced in a variety of areas including commercial litigation, corporate, securities, tax, insurance and real estate law. He has decades of experience as an attorney in private practice, as in-house counsel, and as a contract attorney for large firms in the Boston area.
Most recently, Mr. Warren served as a contract attorney for three major firms in Boston, performing e-discovery for securities and commercial litigation matters. From 2003-2005, he worked part-time with Schneider and Walsh, PC, a small general practice firm in Boston, handling a range of matters including landlord/tenant, probate, personal injury and immigration cases. Previously he completed a long-term contract assignment with Allied Domecq Retailing USA, a holding company for the American operations of three large international fast food companies, where he reviewed franchise agreements, real estate options and remodeling regulations.
From 1996-2001, Mr. Warren was a tax associate with Boston Equiserve, an employee stock transfer agent in Braintree, Massachusetts that handled the payment of dividends to 1000 client companies. There, he worked with clients on various tax filings and compliance at the state and federal levels.
Recent Highlights
As a staff attorney, Mr. Warren is currently engaged in document review and production in large commercial litigation cases.
Professional Activities
Mr. Warren is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Community Involvement
Mr. Warren currently volunteers his services at the Irish Immigration Center in Boston.
