Founding member Bobby Warner is a leading civil litigation attorney who maintains an outstanding reputation for trial work in cases involving personal and workplace injury, employment law, medical malpractice and products liability. Bobby’s courtroom experience includes numerous jury trials, many of which have resulted in seven-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. Held in high regard by his peers, Bobby has been named a "Super Lawyer" for four consecutive years in recognition of his professional achievements, and he received praise as "Best Attorney" in polls conducted by the Charleston Newspapers.
A native of Clarksburg, Bobby is a graduate of West Virginia University, where he earned dual bachelor degrees. Following his father’s example, he then received his Juris Doctor from the WVU College of Law with an induction into the Order of Barristers, which led to the opening of Warner Law Offices in Charleston. Since 2000, Warner Law Offices has focused on superior client service and a commitment to maximizing the value of those clients' claims.
Bobby is admitted to the West Virginia Bar and the northern and southern district courts of West Virginia. Among his professional honors, Bobby serves on the Executive Committee of the West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
Bobby is also a member of the West Virginia Association for Justice and is assigned to LAWPAC, an affiliated political action committee. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the West Virginia State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Public Justice Foundation. Bobby also maintains involvement with the West Virginia Employment Lawyers Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association. In addition, Bobby assists the West Virginia Brain Injury Association as a member of its Board of Directors.
Bobby has determined that his law firm’s goal is to improve West Virginia by making it a safer and better place to live. Warner Law Offices takes part in the Pro Bono Referral Project, supported by Legal Aid of West Virginia, providing free and/or reduced cost legal representation for low-income citizens. Bobby has dedicated thousands of dollars to his firm’s booster seat program, which provides child safety seats to families that are in need of financial assistance. Similarly, the Warner Family Foundation is a generous supporter of programs and special projects in the region, providing much-needed sponsorships to help non-profit organizations achieve their goals.
Outside the practice of law, Bobby is an avid outdoorsman. The experiences he shared with his family while outdoors encouraged Bobby to create Beyond the Backyard, a charitable youth foundation that serves as the only West Virginia-based youth hunting organization. Beyond the Backyard was responsible for providing the W.Va. Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) with funds needed to purchase a state-of-the-art scoring system for the organization’s Archery in the Schools (AIS) program, of which Bobby is a founding organizer.
Bobby’s passion for hunting and fishing has generated impressive media attention. He has been featured in national magazines such as Field and Stream and North American Whitetail, and he is Sitka Ambassador, endorsing a prominent line of outdoor gear and sporting goods. Bobby belongs to or has been involved with many associations in the Mountain State, serving as a board member of the West Virginia Bowhunters Association. The organization honored Bobby with the Bowhunter of the Year award, highlighting both his athletic skills and his commitment to promoting West Virginia’s natural resources.
