Andrew Liao is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. He joined the firm in 2010.
Past Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Liao was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2009. During law school, Mr. Liao also worked part-time as a law clerk in the Special Litigation Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General, State of Illinois. There Mr. Liao drafted briefs on behalf of the state in consumer fraud protection cases. In 2008, Mr. Liao worked as a judicial intern for the Hon. Harold Baer, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, drafting bench memoranda and researching various areas of law.
Before beginning his legal studies, Mr. Liao worked for Google Inc. as a member of the trademarks team, reviewing allegations of trademark infringement across Google’s advertising networks.
