specializes in corporate and complex real estate transactional law. Mr. Warner has in recent years expanded his practice to elder care, estate planning and trust administration law.
Mr. Warner was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1959, and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of Arizona and the United States Supreme Court. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Phoenix College in 1955, his Bachelor of Science (Finance) With Distinction from Arizona State University in 1956, and his Juris Doctor in 1959 from the University of Arizona, where he was the Managing Editor of the Arizona Law Review in 1959.
Mr. Warner is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association (President, 1980), the State Bar of Arizona (Chair, Delivery of Legal Services 1982- 1991), and the American Bar Association, where he served in the House of Delegates from 1981-1991 and as an Assembly Delegate (at large) from 1992-1995. Mr. Warner chaired the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants from 1992-1995. He is a Founding/Life Fellow of the Arizona Bar Foundation, a Fellow of the American Bar Association, and a Charter Member of the Maricopa County Bar Foundation. Mr. Warner served on the National Conference of Bar Presidents’ Executive Council from 1994-1997, and served on the Arizona Supreme Court’s Committee on Character and Fitness from 1983-1989 (Chair, 1989).
Mr. Warner is a lecturer on Legal Economics and the American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Activation Projects, and has been published in the Legal Aid and Indigent Defendant fields.
He has been honored for his service to the legal profession and the bar community as the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, some of which include the 1987 Arizona Bar Foundation’s First Annual Pro Bono Service Award, 1991 Arizona Statewide Legal Services Project/Delivery of Legal Services, 1991 Board of Governors, State Bar of Arizona/Delivery of Legal Services, 1992 Robert M. Mills Outstanding Member Award (Maricopa Country Bar Association), and the 1996 Honorable Frank X. Gordon Traveling Award (Maricopa County Bar Association - pro bono service).
His community service has included the Phoenix and Valley of the Sun Young Men’s Christian Association (President 1977); March of Dimes (State Chair 1974); the Arizona Perinatal Program (Chairman, Board of Trustees 1980-1987); and the Fiesta Bowl (Life Member).
