Jeffrey Levitt is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department. He is a member of the Defense, OFAC and Export Compliance and Intellectual Property Litigation practice groups.
Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Jeffrey was an intellectual property litigation associate for a prominent New York law firm, where he represented pharmaceutical clients in many aspects of complex commercial litigation, including claims of patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract and unfair competition, from pre-suit investigation to appeal before the Federal Circuit. Jeffrey has also secured patents and trademark protection for his clients, as well as conducted IP asset due diligence and licensing.
During law school, Jeffrey was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable William H. Pauley III, United States District Court, SDNY. He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where he was a member of the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law. Jeffrey also received an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.A. in Environmental Chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Before law school, Jeffrey worked for several years as an Environmental Engineer in New York where he was instrumental in the design of New York City's first drinking water treatment facility.
Jeffrey is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
