Norma Levy assists insurers in the protection of their business practices, and handles compliance and statutory issues, unfair trade policies, and bad faith and defamation claims. She has litigated matters before state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and investigations before government agencies. Ms. Levy previously served as assistant vice president and senior counsel to a national title insurance company.

Ms. Levy assists clients with coverage claims, including cases involving long-term delayed manifestation toxic tort cases arising from environmental exposure, D&O, fidelity bond, title and other policies.  She has experience handling fraud and malpractice claims against public companies and their officers, directors and professionals, including accountants, attorneys and appraisers, and has represented various government agencies, including the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, in significant litigation.
Ms. Levy applies her substantial knowledge of securities and derivatives, their regulation and related business practices, and her experience managing investigations and litigations involving such matters to her current practice. She is knowledgeable about regulatory and other issues resulting from the recent economic crisis, including MERS and mortgage and documentation-related issues stemming from the handling of mortgages by banks, other financial institutions and industry members, including brokers, appraisers and attorneys. Ms. Levy has prosecuted and defended numerous antitrust class actions and other matters involving price fixing, group boycott, monopolization and unfair competition claims.
