Attorney Harold D. Levine has been practicing law for more than 25 years, initially in national law firms and, for the past 15 years as a sole practioner. This decision was made in response to Mr. Levine’s belief that far too often, large firms are unable to provide the degree of individual attention that every client needs and deserves.
Mr. Levine is a native of Hartford, Ct. and graduate of Clark University where he obtained his B.A. in English literature and theater arts and subsequently performed professionally.
Mr. Levine also served as a care provider, administrator and advocate for special needs children. He was involved in early deinstitutionalization initiatives within the Massachusetts state hospital system and served as legal counsel to the human rights committee at the now defunct Gaebler Children’s Unit of Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham as well as on Department of Mental Health site selection committees.
It was while serving as Director of Residential Services at a school for multiply handicapped children that Mr. Levine decided to obtain a legal degree in order to better serve children with special needs.
Mr. Levine obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Western New England School of Law in 1986 and began his career practicing family law in Boston.
His practice later expanded to include medical malpractice cases involving developmentally delayed children injured as the result of negligent birthing and neonatal care as well as elderly patients injured through faulty nursing home care.
Mr. Levine has successfully represented victims of violent crimes, including rape and sexual assault.
He has also been extensively involved complex products liability litigation, representing clients seriously injured while operating defective snowmobiles, snowblowers, jet skis, ATV’s and other automotive vehicles.
Mr. Levine continues to concentrate his practice in the areas of domestic relations and complex personal injury litigation, in which he has consistently obtained outstanding results for clients and done so with an approach that is consistent with each client’s individual needs.
