Mr. Walter's practice is focused on complex business and commercial litigation. Mr. Walter has experience in all phases of federal and state litigation, having represented for profit and non-profit corporations in lawsuits involving claims such as breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. He also has experience representing both employers and employees in a variety of employment law disputes. Mr. Walter has prosecuted and defended discrimination claims and disputes arising from employment contracts, including the enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation provisions. His practice also includes representing plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits and representing parties in administrative matters.
Mr. Walter was previously an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri. In that position, he was appointed general counsel for several professional state licensing boards and prosecuted licensure violations. While with the Attorney General's Office, Mr. Walter also worked on complex federal lawsuits involving ERISA preemption.
