Andy Levine advises companies in a wide range of industries on M&A and private equity transactions. His experience covers public and private mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; joint ventures; and distress and other investments.
Andy's recent experience includes advising ABB Ltd. in its acquisition of Kuhlman Electric Corporation and ABM Industries Incorporated's $365 million purchase of OneSource Services, Inc. Prior representative transactions in which Andy has played a key role include the Sprint-Nextel merger-of-equals ($46.5 billion); R.H. Donnelley's acquisitions of Dex Media ($9.8 billion), Sprint's directory business ($2.23 billion), and the directory business of SBC ($1.42 billion); and WL Ross & Co.'s acquisition of Burlington Industries in a bankruptcy buyout ($614 million).
He also has worked on substantial matters for clients such as Alliant Techsystems, Federated Department Stores, FTD, Omnicom Group, Procter & Gamble, Proliance International, Ryder System, SkyTel Communications, and The Stanley Works.
For most of 2006, Andy served as vice president of corporate development for Root Markets in New York.
Andy has coauthored several publications, including most recently an article on nominating and governance committee action items.
