Milla Walker joined Luqmani Thompson & Partners as a trainee solicitor in 2005 and qualified as a solicitor in 2007, becoming partner in May 2011. Prior to joining the firm Milla volunteered with Bail for Immigration Detainees (BID).

Since joining Luqmani Thompson & Partners, Milla has forged a reputation amongst peers and experts for thoroughness of preparation and depth of understanding in Immigration, Education and Public Law.

Milla has extensive experience in High Court work; working on a number of Judicial Reviews against unlawful detention and representing clients in their pursuit of damages. In the course of her work Milla has been involved in some definitive cases, including country guidance matters and Court of Appeal cases such as (IA Turkey).
