Shannon grew up in Newport News Virginia. As a child and young adult, Shannon was very active in the arts; acting, singing and dancing. Shannon attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated in 1991. Shortly thereafter, she had her first daughter, Taylor, and later moved to Los Angeles to realize her dreams. However after a life altering experience, Shannon’s dreams soon changed from acting on stage and on the screen to acting in the drama loaded court room. Shannon relocated to Virginia in 1999, and later graduated from Regent University with a new baby girl, Isabella, on her hip and a juris doctorate in her hand.

Shannon is a vivacious and passionate woman raising 2 beautiful girls in the Yorktown area. She has a very large and close-knit family which she is extremely proud of. Her mother, Barbara Robertson, is Shannon’s very best friend and a true Red Head.

Shannon is very compassionate regarding the plight of women fighting to protect their children and is devoted to helping women and children facing the challenges in a divorce and/or custody fight. After personally experiencing divorce and a child custody battle, as well as being a former client of Hofheimer Family Law Firm, she has a unique perspective in representing Women. Shannon is a tough opponent, fighting for what is just and right.
