Mr. Letchinger has been engaged exclusively in the practice of labor and employment law since graduating from Northwestern University School of Law in 1982. Mr. Letchinger began his career as an associate in the labor and employment law firm of Fox and in 1996, he became an equity partner in the Firm. Mr. Letchinger has been labor and employment counsel to public and privately owned entities throughout the United States, including such diverse employers as The Pampered Chef, Ltd., Tennis Corporation of America, Riddell, Inc., the United States Tennis Association, the United States Soccer Federation, Inc., the State of Illinois, and the Chicago Housing Authority. Mr. Letchinger has represented management in numerous cases before federal and state courts, the National Labor Relations Board, the Illinois Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and labor arbitrators throughout the country. He has published several articles on employment matters, including articles on the legal implications of AIDS in the workplace, and on the legal risks faced by employers who desire to reduce their workforce. He has spoken before trade and professional associations, has been a guest lecturer at Chicago-Kent School of Law and Kendall College, and regularly conducts seminars for management personnel on legal and practical employment relations matters.
Mr. Letchinger has been named one of the Leading Lawyers in Illinois, based on a statewide survey of lawyers. Leading Lawyers comprise less than 5% of all lawyers in the state. He was also selected by Chicago magazine and Law and Politics magazine as one of Illinois' Super Lawyers.
