Dori Leland - Dori is an associate attorney at Greeman Toomey, PLLC. She serves on the Governance Council of the Social Security Disability Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and is a member of the National Disability Lawyers Network. Dori is admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota, and in the Federal District Courts of Minnesota, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Dori has a B.A. in International Relations from Seattle Pacific University, an M.A. in Applied Ethics from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, Dori was co-director of the student chapter of the Minnesota Justice Foundation and the Student Mentor program, and an intern for both the Minneapolis City Attorneys' Office - Civil Division and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services.

Dori has been engaged with disability rights and social justice issues since 1992. Before becoming an attorney, Dori performed humanitarian work for mentally ill children in Brazil and Kyrgyzstan, and worked with young sex trafficking victims in southern India. Dori also directed the employment / community integration department of a large advocacy agency for intellectually disabled adults in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. Prior to joining Greeman Toomey, Dori clerked for a trial court judge in Stillwater, Minnesota and represented hundreds of employees and consumers at a mid-sized Minneapolis law firm. Dori also volunteers time to represent victims of domestic violence to file orders for protection and petitions for asylum.

Dori lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Dan, an employment attorney. In her spare time Dori enjoys cooking and gardening, and belongs to a Russian book club.
